The 2017 Season is now fast approaching and with pre-season about to start we would like to announce the new Carnegie Steelers Head Coach for 2017.
Nav Sisu Akbar will be taking the helm as of immediate affect and we are very privilege to have a coach with as much experience and knowledge in American football that will help lead us into the Playoffs in 2017 and then onto the Premier Division in 2018.
Nav Added “Returning this year to become head coach of Steelers with a vision to return the Steelers to the top of flag football.
Having watched the squad last season, this year we will be better prepared after losing out on playoffs on last game of season, I can promise this season we will not lose sight of what it takes to succeed in this sport and with the right blend of experience and new blood I know I can mould a playoff squad.”
We very much look forward to the 2017 with Nav leading the squad of guys.
Official Training starts on Sunday 12th February 2017 which co-insides with the Flag Recruitment Day.
