Our youth football program stars with children 7 years old up to 18 years old. We offer a safe and positive environment for all the kids to learn and enjoy the sport. They are divided into groups according to age and size, and learn all the skills and knowledge to allow them to play safely and have fun. All coaches are qualified and PVG vetted.
COACHES:
All coaches are experienced and qualified, as well as holding current PVG vetting certificates. They're primary concern is safety while teaching the kids to play this unique sport.
FACILITIES:
The club has excellent facilities at Duloch Leisure Centre, Dunfermline. Training and games take place on our grass or 3G Astro pitches. We have access to indoor facilities if required.
TRAINING:
The Youth Football teams train every Saturday 1000hrs to 1200hrs.
EQUIPMENT:
We aim to keep players costs to a minimum and with the exception of boots and a mouthguard, the club supplies all other playing and training equipment.
SAFEGUARDING:
In line with club policy the Kings have a designated Safeguarding Officer, Carolann Davidson. As well as managing PVG records she also handles any issues that may arise.
GAMES:
Contact games at youth are 5v5 (U17) and 7v7 (U19) format with some alterations to the full game to enhance safety. Flag teams play a 5v5 format at all age groups.
PARENTS:
The club encourage parents to come along to training, games and events to help out, watch, ask questions and be part of the club and their child's development.
SPIRIT:
There is a close family spirit in the youth teams between all involved. The teams often take part in other activities together to strengthen their bond and have great fun.
